You may already be a bird fancier, or you may become one. But before you buy any lovebirds, you must make the commitment to be or become good at the hobby. I am serious about this. If you have lovebirds and find you are not a fancier at heart, dispose of them. If you think you might get rich from breeding lovebirds, forget it. If you think that breeding lovebirds is a simple thing, think again. The reverse is also true. If you are attracted to birds in general and lovebirds in particular, don't hold back. if you don't mind putting energy into the hobby, go for it. If you see yourself you can be one.
